Sound Design and Effects Editing
From gunshots and sci-fi weapons, to car engines or eerie door squeaks, I create, manipulate and layer immersive sound effects using industry-standard sound design tools and a professional 3TB sound library to suit any genre of film or series.
Dialogue Repair/ Editing
With the help of spectral editing tools, I restore dialogue affected by common on-set issues such as; noise, wind, hum, click or clipping. Then I apply EQ, de-essers, and other VST plugins to ensure the spoken narrative is clear, natural and prominant.
Foley Recording/Editing
Using a range of footwear and an extensive collection of everyday props, I perform and edit Foley to enhance on-screen movement with realism and character. All captured with high quality microphones, ensuring clarity and detail in every clip.
Soundtrack and Music Editing
Drawing on my background in music technology I work to compliment composer's stems with my own ambiences to create emotional soundscapes in the 5.1 space - and ensuring they are precisely synced to picture and flow seamlessly with the edit.
Re- Recording Mixing
With a solid understanding of LUFS and limiters, I deliver solid 5.1 mixes that bring together all elements of audio post, achieving the required loudness specifications for a range of streaming platforms, ensuring consistent playback across all formats.
